Kamala Harris shattered the glass ceiling as the first woman, first black, first South Asian, and first HBCU graduate to become Vice President. Kamala is wearing the white pants suit she wore to give her acceptance speech, evoking the women in the women’s suffrage movement. The white pants suit with a bow reinforced her message of emancipation and freedom.
Along the border of the artwork, Kamala is surrounded by little girls who can all dream of becoming president one day.
